Simon And Garfunkel – The Boxer

A person can change their environment but they can’t change who they are.

As life goes on sometimes we make the same mistakes over and over again through our own choices. At times we try to forget our hardships through empty pleasures or a change of scenery. As it turns out, even when we change what’s around us the same problems persist. Our hardships must be solved from within, but first we must recognize that we are the cause of our own problems.

Internet piracy

Online Piracy has become a global issue with the massive growth of the internet. With nearly ¼ of internet bandwidth being used for piracy, people are finding new ways of pirating material. The issue doesn’t seem too severe to those who are benefiting from pirating but to businesses, which are losing money, this is a big issue. Businesses are losing millions of dollars to internet piracy. It is estimated that the software industry is losing 20.6% of  their income, the music industry is losing 18.5% of their income and the music industry is losing 65.5% of their income from piracy yearly.

Below is information about the current situation as well as potential solutions for the future:

“Don’t try to fix it. I just need you to listen.” Every man has heard these words. And they are the law of the land. No matter what.

No matter how much somebody tells you what to do, people won’t listen. The problem will not be fixed until the person themselves identify the problem. People are constrained by their level of perception. No matter how much you want to help someone, telling them what to do won’t make a difference and will actually create more problems. I think all of us have experienced something like this!!
