Do we exist? How do we know we exist? These are some of the questions that brought about the philosophy of existentialism. Existentialists are people who try to answer hard questions by simply observing reality. They would try to solve problems by logic and reasoning which did not include bias. They had a few concepts that I thought were interesting. Existentialists do not like the idea of blaming everything on chance or randomness but rather they highly emphasize freedom of choice and accountability for each individual. These concepts connect perfectly to their main belief, which is that a person is in total control of their life. These concepts are all a part of what we know as existentialism.
